Mum To Five: LUV UR SKIN Product Review
In a few days my first daughter will turn 10. There is much excitement in the air about this milestone, the “double digit” birthday has been talked about for months, a party planned just for her special school friends and the realisation for not only her but also myself that she is no longer a little girl.
Miss M has always been a girly girl and this has become even more obvious the last few months, so when I was given the opportunity to test out a range of products designed just for girls like her, I knew just who to give them to.
We took our Luv Ur Skin products on our recent long trip through Asia. The Luv Ur Skin Facewash (RRP $10.99) was a great introduction to face cleansing. This foaming wash was used quickly and easily in the shower, we left it in there so she remembered to use it daily. The Luv Ur Skin Bodywash (RRP $12.99) comes in a 100ml tube and was another product that stayed in the shower to be used easily, it contains antimicrobial and anti-inflammatory properties to assist in soothing and calming irritated skin which was great with the large amount of sun we got on holidays. After the cleansing routine it was time to introduce the importance of moisturising. The Luv Ur Skin Body Lotion (RRP $12.99) is a lightweight lotion that she applied once a day after showering, and she only needed a small amount. It can be used on all areas of the body and can also double up as a hand cream. Little Miss sees me moisturise daily and loved the Luv Ur Skin Face Moisturiser (RRP $12.99) It soothed and calmed her skin, especially on the days where we got a little too much sun. The Luv Ur Skin Berrilicious Lip Balm (RRP $4.99) was definitely her favourite (and mine) Its fruity flavour and glossy look meant she loved it, and I loved it because she had her own and left mine alone! The Luv Ur Skin Wash Towel (RRP $2.95) can be used to apply the face and body washes for a deeper clean.
Miss M also received from the Luv Ur Body range the Bright Lights Glow in the Dark Nail Polish Set (RRP $12.99) like most girls she loves getting the chance to paint her nails, and the fact these were glow in the dark only appealed more. This three pack had her and her siblings playing beauticians for hours.
Our verdict on the Luv Ur Skin Range:
Miss 9: Loved the packaging, the fact she got her own age appropriate products and felt like a big girl using them.
Mum loves: the first range I have seen for my tween daughters and especially the price point: completely affordable and available to order online.
