To Cleanse

Hey girls,

Luv Ur Skin is all about taking care of yourself and looking after your skin and it’s actually not that hard to do once you get into the right routine.

It’s really important to establish a good skincare routine as early on in life as possible, as it can help you deal with different skin problems, in the future, such as acne, blackheads and oily skin, which no one wants! Luckily, there are ways to help manage it.

One way that has worked for me, through my tween and now early teen years, is by cleansing and moisturizing every morning and night (sometimes I do it three times a day, especially if I’ve just come home from sports training at school and my skin’s all sweaty).  Your skin is exposed to so much during the day, dirt from the environment, sunscreen and other product so if you don’t clean it properly, at the end of the day, you’re leaving all that dirt on your skin which will clogs your pores and is how blackheads and pimples form.

Also, while you’re sleeping your skin keeps on working and repairing so you’ll find it may feel/look a little oily in the morning which is why you need to cleanse when you get up (it’s also a great way to refresh yourself first thing and help you wake up and get ready for your day).

Now just remember, every time you cleanse you must moisturiser to ensure you protect your skin and keep it hydrated. Even if you have oily skin, you still need to moisturiser, just look for an oil-free moisturiser because you don’t want your skin to dry out as then it’s just going to produce more oils!

The more you take care of your skin the better it will look and feel and the best chance you will have to keep it clear of any breakouts.

I hope this helps and remember routine is the key, you only get out what you put in and your skin is the first thing everyone sees so present it as well as you can.

Izzi xx
