5 Minutes With Izzi

Family Capers was kind enough to have spent 5 minutes with Izzi to get a sneak peek into what life is like for her.
Who is your family made up of?
My family is made up of my mum, dad, little brother Alex and myself.
What is a typical day with your family like?
We don’t really have any typical days in my family.
Every day is as hectic as the rest and what happens during the day really depends on what day it is and who has what commitments. We definitely don’t have a ‘normal’ routine.
Who is one person in your life you are thankful for and why?
There isn’t really just one person I’m thankful for, I’m thankful for a lot of people in my life.
I’m lucky that I have a really supportive family including all my grandparents, uncles, aunties and lots of cousins.
I’ve also been fortunate to have met some amazing people through my business who have become my mentors and are always there to listen and give me advise.
Where do you live and if we were to visit you what would you show us?
I live in Melbourne, and if you were to visit me I would love to take you to Luna Park or to a musical theatre show, as we have some of the best theatres and productions in Australia.
What is your greatest talent or ability?
I don’t know if it’s really an ability or talent, but I’ve learnt that my opinion counts and speak up when I need to be heard.
I never used to be like this so running my own business has helped my ‘come out of my shell’ because you have to be able to get your message and point across when dealing with different people, especially when they’re representing you and your brand.
If you had the attention of the world for just 10 seconds, what would you say?
Gender Equality should not be something we need to work towards it should just be.
If you could have any superpower, which would you choose?
Invisibility. I love observing and seeing what people do and how they act, I find it really interesting, so it would be great to be able to do this without being seen. Also, it would be hilarious to be sneak up to people then just appear!
