Izzi Dymalovski named 'CBA Australian of the Day'!
CBA Australian of the Day, Izzi Dymalovski can safely say she’s the only 14-year-old in Australia with their own range of skincare products on shelves around the country. Not bad for a venture that she says “started kinda by accident.”
The St Kilda schoolgirl came up with the idea for Luv Ur Skin — a range targeted at tweens — after her mum refused to let her use adult products. “I used to do a lot of dance concerts and I wanted to take my make up off using my mum’s stuff but she said they were too harsh for my skin,” says Isabella. “An argument or two later Mum said, ‘Fine, go make your own skincare things.’ She didn’t realise how seriously I would take it.”
After lots of finessing, CommBank’s Australian of the Day came up with a face wash, a moisturiser, sunscreen, a body wash and two lip balms. “I didn’t start out doing it as a business,” she says. “It was more just for me but my friends at school were like ‘Oh my God! Where can I buy this from?’”
